This pristine vintage General Electric pocket radio features an exceptionally clean, scuff-free shiny metal chassis that shows zero dents or cosmetic wear, making it an elite display piece or premium donor unit. The vertical tuning dial moves smoothly, and the telescoping antenna is perfectly straight and slides out easily.Dating to the late 1960s or 1970s portable tech era, the protective brown faux-leather case features clear "Made in Hong Kong" branding, intact contrast stitching, and a fully functional snap closure. Please note that the case material has become rigid and not pliable due to decades of storage. It sustained a small tear just above the station window and a light crease across the front while being carefully removed for an internal chassis inspection. To prevent further damage, it is highly recommended that the case be left securely in place as part of your collection. This unit is being sold as-is for display, movie prop use, or a simple restoration project due to surface rust on the 9-volt battery connector terminals from a previously left-behind battery. Aside from the terminal connectors, the internal solid-state components are immaculate and completely free of battery acid damage, making it an easy fix for an electronics hobbyist handy with a soldering iron.
